Dennis the Wild Boar

4/2010, pigs, new wild pig that dogs attacked,

Dennis was rescued when he was about three weeks old. To the left is a picture of him the first day. It shows my wife washing him up at the vet’s office. He had broken ribs, and he was bleeding internally. In addition, he was covered in lice.

The vet said he probably wouldn’t make it. Little did the vet know of my wife’s special care. She nursed that baby back to full health. And now, seven years later, he is about four hundred pounds and doing fine. You’ll see plenty more of Dennis as you browse the site; he’s a star.
